Most recently, I replaced the front and rear brake pads and discs on my 2016 E class coupe 220 blue tech. No electronic parking brake is available for this vehicle. The sensors' wires were also changed.

It appears that the warning message for Brake Pad Wear cannot be "cancelled" even though I have the icarsoft MBv2.0 gadget.

Allow me know if you have any suggestions or ideas on how to accomplish this. I am making an effort to stay away from indies and dealers.

My sincerest gratitude.

Sometimes there is a problem with the connection or a broken wire on the pad wear sensor.

I appreciate it. My hope is that they are both satisfactory because I have replaced them.

To cancel the alert, I was hoping to use the icarsoft device.

You should only get a warning when the sensor runs out and completes a circuit. Did the new sensor have any wear and tear?

A potential issue with the sensor's wiring has already been brought up.

As an example, if a new sensor is needed, the warning on mine goes out when the cct is closed.

Verify that the sensor(s) have a closed cct if you possess a DVM.

For testing the cct, you can use a worn-out old sensor to short it. Sever the two wires that were connected to the sensor and slice it in half.

To be real, I've done that before when I've queued for a replacement postal sensor.
