Has anyone seen the prototype 2027 Sportage?

The padding makes it hard to discern, but it appears to be more of an evolution than a revolution. I really like the elevated placement of the indicators and would be disappointed if they went back to their lower position. Does the roof line actually slope less towards the back than it does now, or is this just a visual illusion?

Yes, those low indicators aren't ideal for tailgating drivers from Audi, BMW, and other brands; they won't be able to see you coming.

According to the article, there is a larger exhaust system installed. We may be looking at a redesigned EV5 with an internal combustion engine (ICE) due to its boxier shape.

Much obliged for the OD share
Secrecy is key, but I'm curious to see what's new. Like a public urinal cistern, it will surely leak out in stages leading up to its debut.

Will this EV5 only be available in petrol and diesel?

At this point, your guess is just as valid as anyone else's, so you should come to your own conclusions

Very improbable to be diesel; most people no longer like them. In my opinion, the current setup of petrol, HEV, and PHEV will likely continue. To this day, the Sportage remains Kia's best-selling vehicle.
