Warning: "Emergency Call system unavailable" appears in the error message.
After changing the telematics battery, the notification disappeared for a moment before reappearing.

Will the ECU display any hidden fault codes as a result of this?
Is it necessary to delete error codes?
Is it necessary to configure the battery to the automobile after installation?

After making the adjustment, I had to use Bimmerlink to remove the error notice.

After the battery was installed, the codes cleared themselves. However, I did clear them a few days later. The model is 2017 F82.

Thanks, but I'm still confused about the meaning of this notice on my car's dashboard.
I thought the same thing—that driving would charge and pair the battery—so I swapped it out.
This problem is described as a hard system malfunction that, according to certain forums and comments, occasionally necessitates a reset. I suppose it sums up my current situation.

After swapping out the battery on my 2018 G30 530d, the warning notification went away after a few charges. No need to reset or code anything.
