Greetings everyone.
For service (i.e., oil and filter just), I often visit my neighbourhood Kwikfit or Halfords. Both places are excellent, but the prices hover around £200, which seems a bit excessive for around £50 worth of supplies and about 30 minutes of labour.
After entering my postcode near my workplace, I noticed that Cinch Servicing offers the same for £130. What's more, they operate with the nearby MB main dealer!
Bad aspects?
Best regards

Comparison between Cinch Servicing with Kwikfit, among others

Since it is an MB dealer and part of the same parent business as Marshalls (Constellation Automotive), they will use whichever of their facilities is most convenient and has the necessary capacity. Yet, I'd be astonished to find an MB "stamp" in the logs.
A hard pitch based on "we found this during the service" and the assumption that you would receive the bare minimum are good preparations. Customers that have high standards for their vehicles aren't their target market.

At our neighbourhood Marshall's, I brought our V class in for one of those inch services... They charged me £129 to change the oil and filter, but they didn't use MB-approved oil—they just reset the service indication and sent me an invoice.
Additionally, they provided me with an extensive and costly inventory of items that require repair. The brakes had worn down to 8 mm, the tires to 5 mm, and I was also found to be missing a jacking point. I paid £3 to have it replaced.
They went on a little fishing adventure, but in the meanwhile, I had the oil and filter changed and the car checked over.

In my area, Marshall Volvo Derby is the closest Cinch service center. Compared to dealer pricing, the service schedules appear to be far more comprehensive. When his XC90 T5 is due for its next service, my SiL will likely give them a go.

Seek for F1 Autocentres in your neighbourhood and enquire about their minor and major maintenance. If you want to peruse their detailed web listing, you may mimic the MB A and B services. Just remember to include fully synthetic oil and any extra time-related filters, among other things. For £260, I had my SLK280 serviced last year with a B plus totally synthetic oil and an air filter.

For whatever reason, I was just now wondering if the local MB dealer (Marshalls) is also the Cinch store around here.
Odd....

£139 from the primary dealer; this has been the standard for a long time, so please, guys, do not become upset.

Even though I'm familiar with the name, I was unable to locate a vendor offering them at such a bargain price.

Could you please tell me where you are located? Members of the Sandown gang, MB Guildford, were here.
