The image depicts the rear view camera's display of a dot. I will not be present if I am not biased against anything in particular.
As you draw near to an object, use black.
I will see a red dot if I am approaching a red vehicle, a white dot if I am approaching a white vehicle, and so on.
What gives me the impression is that this is just going to get worse from here.
Is anyone familiar with this?
You’re only seeing the surface.

Breaking news: hazy photo galleries underneath
Quite intriguing.
The spot's affected area seems fuzzy in the camera's view.
So, it's grey outside and red inside the red automobile.
An issue with the camera's sensor would typically manifest as a square of pixels instead of a circle.
To begin, check the camera's sensor or external dome for dust or a drop of water.
It will be obscured by its diminutive size.

Given the recent rainfall, I'm crossing my fingers that you're close to the mark.
Even after a thorough cleaning, it has not worked.
On the weekend, you may try giving it the hairdryer treatment.
