My 2025 CX90 Premium Sport's driver side seat ripped right off the bottom of the plastic cover area the day I bought it.
I was hoping someone else has had the same problem because I haven't seen any recalls or news regarding it.

If your CX-90 was manufactured prior to September 10, 2024, then service bulletin 09-022/25 might be relevant to you.

To check if it applies, a picture of the damage might be useful.

Both of ours did it. There was no sign of a fold or rip. The seat cover was actually slipping off the cushion since it seemed to detach from underneath and pull out. The seat cushion was replaced as part of the basic warranty coverage.

Sure, I'll contact my local Mazda dealer to find out what my options are.

Similar problem on driver's side of the vehicle—2024 preferred plus.

An update: I contacted my neighbourhood Mazda dealer, and they confirmed that the seat is indeed covered by the 30-kilomile warranty!
