Recently, I installed a motorised Valeo kit in place of the original regulator on the driver's side window. This is great and all, but unlike the passenger side, my window doesn't fully rise when I pull it up; in other words, I have to keep the switch in the up position even after it has passed the "click."
I don't know if this is the old way of doing things or if this is a brand new problem; if the latter, does anyone have any suggestions for fixing it?
You can expect the window to go down in steps or entirely at once. On the other hand, the ascent doesn't.
You’re only seeing the surface.

If you proceed to the "next" destination, it should rise all at once. So, was the door closed? My car won't start automatically if I leave that door open, so I thought I'd mention that.
Do you know if the auto closing feature works when you repeatedly push the "lock" button with all the doors closed? Even then, it ought to close automatically. Hopefully it's not on your end, but if it doesn't, I'll assume the valeo replacement part has that capability. It's frustrating that they're so eager to replace these window regulators.

Something about that function slipped my mind. And it's clear that you were correct, sir.
You have my gratitude.
