Great compact vehicle. Impossibly wonderful
An old 296A0 charger that I can install myself is what I'm after. Is anyone available to fix or refurbish these devices?
Who has attempted this? Do you have any suggestions or recommendations?
Anyone have the owner's handbook for this vehicle that they're willing to share?
Much obliged.
You’re only seeing the surface.

If you post the same thing more than once, you won't get many responses.
I normally wouldn't suggest another forum on this one, but if you're looking for specific instructions on how to replace the charger in a Leaf, you might want to look elsewhere.
Although there are a handful of technically savvy individuals who have experience fixing electric vehicles (like me - I replaced the gearbox on my Leaf and fixed the onboard charger on my Peugeot Ion, among other things), I would argue that most of the posters here are simply EV drivers who either don't do repairs themselves or only perform basic car maintenance like changing the brakes.
If you do not receive a response here, you may want to visit https://mynissanleaf.com/, where you will find a wealth of technical information regarding DIY repairs and reverse engineering.
Hope everything works out.

Thanks for the helpful link! I'm thinking of purchasing a 2016-2017 Leaf with a weak 24kw battery, adding a 60kwh pack, and driving it to exhaustion while taking advantage of the £20 annual tax, approximately 200-mile range, and purchasing a CCS adapter.

While you're at it, you could recycle the 24 kWh LEAF's old cells into a residential battery pack:
