I have checked the service screen and it shows that the front pads are malfunctioning, and the car indicator is flashing yellow. My wife is very careful when driving our cars, so we checked the pads and found that they still had plenty of wear left. Perhaps I'm misunderstood, but this message is about mileage and has nothing to do with the pad wear sensor. (a new yellow warning should show up if the wear sensor is activated, I think).
My attempts to reset the indicator that reads "RESET AVAILABLE and then Reset Failed" have been unsuccessful.
Your assistance would be greatly valued.

Did you also check the sensor when you checked the pads? Resetting the device will require replacing the sensor if it is worn down to the point where metal is visible.

Assuming I'm not mistaken, the warning light turns yellow when the front disc wear sensor is shorted, with spaced lines surrounding it; when the second connection shorts, the light turns red.
The only reason the service indicator remains yellow is because of mileage.

I had the same thought, but two weeks ago I received the warning about the worn rear pads and the amber car. I was unable to conquer it. I noticed that the car would chime whenever I started it. Despite the wear indicator going off, I measured and found that the sensor side pads still had 6mm remaining. I don't believe it is possible to reset the message once the sensor is worn out. Unless I'm mistaken, I may have overlooked something.

Please replace the pads and sensor; I am grateful.

No, you can't reset the light or message until you replace the worn sensor.

If you want to know where the sensors are, just look at the front nearside and the back offside of the inner pad.
