Greetings everyone

From 2012, I own a C180 AMG Sport. I think it includes the Beker maps and the HK audio. Just about a month ago, the entire system crashed while I was behind the wheel. I also didn't see any logo on the screen when I started the car. I have seen pre-owned units on eBay, but I can't tell you how bad it is. According to the local garage, it's dead except for checking the 10a fuse, which I will do just in case. The version I should have is the ntg 4.5 audio 20, it seems. Is it necessary to find one with HK as well, or are the speakers I already have and the HU identical?

I was also considering integrating Android Auto; however, I will require a functional factory HU to support these features.

Before you buy a used unit from some random person, do your research. For starters, you'll need the complete VIN of the donor vehicle because they are Vin locked.

To get the best route explained, call Mark or Richard at Comandonline in Lightwater (near you in Surrey).

Has the repair shop determined whether the HU itself is dead or if the problem lies with the screen?

Additionally, the volume knob doubles as a power button. I know, it's blatantly obvious.
