Inquiry regarding oil viscosity following DPF deletion.

Greetings. I have removed the DPF and EGR and erased the software. May I enquire if it is permissible to utilise a somewhat denser oil? I performed a service recently, during which I installed a new used sump, but subsequently had to remove it due to minor oil leakage from the sealant. The oil resembles water when it flows out, and even after cooling, it still resembles water as it returns. Would it be permissible to use a marginally denser oil? Presently utilising a 5/30 triple Q. I appreciate it. 2.2 4n14 177 horsepower. Reconfigured.

How was your oil level? Was it elevated?

Negative. This occurs subsequent to the removal of the DPF and EGR. No additional regenerations. Consequently, there is no longer any diesel present in the oil. It is newly changed oil that has only been used for a few hundred miles. It resembles water. I would prefer to choose something denser, if possible.

Employ a high-quality sealant, as even viscous oils can permeate.
Remove the pan. Thoroughly cleanse and inspect for any damages, among other issues. Employ a fresh seal and a delicate bead of RTV on each side. Secure the fasteners by hand, allow a 30-minute interval, and then tighten them to a moderate degree.
Refrain from excessively tightening the fasteners, as this could lead to the deformation of multiple sumps and subsequent leakage.

Additionally, allow the sealant to set overnight prior to replenishing. I have observed numerous sumps exhibiting leaks as a result of inadequate curing duration.
