Good day. Have any customers had this dealer installed?
Can it be said to be good or bad?
I was hoping someone could tell me how it's installed because I'm worried about the battery life if it uses an off-ignition feed or a permanent 12 volt feed. Because of its compact size, I fail to see the utility of the unit's built-in battery in parking mode and similar applications.
Much obliged.

As part of my purchase, I had them fitted. The car has served me well for the past eighteen months.

Very same thing here; it fits snugly through the rubber on the back of the screen and doesn't shed a drop.

So that the installation wouldn't void my PHEV warranty, I had it professionally installed by my local Toyota dealer. I installed the optional parking battery, and it has been functioning well thus far; in the morning, I can hear its beeps as I approach the car.
