Do any of you have any experience with the Evoque's battery? Want to know whether anyone made the transition to AGM batteries and how long the first one survived.

After seeing that my 2019's auto start/stop function was nonexistent and receiving a "Low Battery/Start Engine" warning on a regular basis, I decided to replace what I thought was the original battery. Everything worked OK for around 18 months after I changed the battery (Duracell Platinum AGM), but then the same warning light returned. I bought an iCarsoft OBD reader, made sure it was up-to-date, and reset the BMS. The voltage is correct, and there are no problems, yet the notification keeps popping up. As far as we can tell, it has never really gone away. Aside from that warning light, we haven't had any problems with this battery in over two years.

Not surprising at all! The original battery was already an AGM if you replaced it. Investing in a battery charger to keep the 12v battery in your Evoque is a good idea if you plan on leaving it unused for more than a few days.
