Automatically disabled cruise control

The cruise control in my Mini Cooper S from 2022 unexpectedly shut off when I was driving. I successfully reattached it. The screen displayed a message instructing the user to contact a service center after the cruise control feature failed when the alarm went off. This seems like it might have been an isolated incident, but I'm not sure what to do about it.
Are you in possession of an OBD2 reader? If so, have you seen any error codes? Most problems with cars are related to electrical components, such as sensors or control modules, and this includes the throttle body. (I would also need to know if your automobile is still covered by warranty.)
Maybe you might clean up some of the sensors. Take a look at the ones that measure your speed and the ones that measure your throttle position. (Did you accidentally tap the pedal?) Take a break from pedaling and try again on a peaceful route; if it happens again, consider taking your feet off the pedals entirely. The first thing you should do is look for the fault codes; the system is electrical almost the whole time.

Much obliged. At the moment it occurred, I am certain that my foot did not hit the brake pedal. I managed to activate cruise control a few seconds later, and it served me well for the rest of the journey. Just a message saying "crusie control failer, contact a service center" remained on the screen for a few seconds; I don't think it had any particular code. I will have the dealership change the sensors if they become worn out, even though my warranty has expired.
It might be a sensor or a minor vacuum leak. If it keeps working, don't worry too much; it's obviously not a major problem. However, if it keeps working or quits totally, it's evident that you need to get some help.
