W124 luxury motorised driver's seat
May I kindly request some advice? Today, when I triggered the passenger electric front seat, it fully retracted, but now it refuses to move forward. The forward and backward motion of the door switch makes audible clicking sounds to me. If the switch makes a clicking sound, then I'll assume it's working and that the motor is blocked. So sorry, I'm not familiar with or even have a continuity meter on hand. Any help would be greatly appreciated, so thank you in advance.

Given its lack of use, I would expect it to require a thorough cleaning...Additionally, doing this is a seat out job. I was wondering whether you had the W124 handbook. It's free, so why not give it a go?
Your assistance is greatly appreciated. By testing the switch on the driver's side, which moved the passenger seat, I was able to determine that the switch was defective. Attempting to open the broken switch and fix it or finding a functional passenger switch are my two possibilities, I believe.

This part number is not seen on any of the seat controls.
