Putting aside flat tires

I was wondering if anyone has swapped out their X1's run-flat tires for go-flats. Because I reside in a rural region, potholes are causing me to lose a fortune's worth of vehicles. I've gone through no less than three tires so far this year. Even though I'm worried about damaging the suspension, I'm sick of constantly shelling out money for pricey tires, and the manual says not to. Due to their extreme unpredictability, I am more than happy to travel with a repair kit and a foot pump.

I would advise you to stay away from the potholes.
You won't be able to avoid punctures with run flats, but they're cheaper and easy to install.

To enhance comfort and tyre survival, use smaller wheels and deeper tyre sidewalls.

In my opinion, the most important thing is that run flats cannot be repaired, and I have not used them for years. They can be more expensive than regular tires. In the event that I encounter any problems, such as a puncture, I will contact my recovery service using the pump that I keep in my back. Also, I thought your handbook specifically said not to replace run flats with regular tires. How strange!

Whenever I get the opportunity, I swap out the run-flats for regular tires.
Every one of my vehicles has a pump and plug kit—except for the x5, which has a spare wheel.
As mentioned earlier, you might want to consider a size change or adding more rubber to your wheels if they are larger than 18 inches.
