Do you know of any good screen protectors for the 2017 SL model?

Hopefully, a decent screen protector can bring back some of the anti-glare effects that have been "cleaned" off the present screen.

I believe that there is a German firm named "Protectionfilms24" that sold film for NTG4.5 screens in the past. They probably gave me one for my SLK172 a long time ago. It could be worth sending them an email to enquire about any remaining inventory, even if they no longer list them. Another option would be to purchase a larger roll of film and trim it to size.
A very fine abrasive polish can be used to remove any leftover coating if everything else fails.

Make sure to check the screen size, though....

I also experienced this problem with mine; it's not the anti-glare feature per se, but rather the protective covering that was applied to the screen. The remainder was simply rinsed away with some quick glass. A tiny bit remains around the borders, but it appears to be much clearer now. If you wish to use a screen protector, my recommendation is to remove the covering completely first. If you don't, the protection will reveal the layer underneath.
