Hello everyone
Does my Kia Sportage GTS come with a digital key option? I've looked through the handbook, but I'm still confused. Apologies if this has been asked previously.

I just learned that my Kia, even though it is a 2025 model (based on the VIN), does not have the digital key feature.

Using the VIN, how can one determine the specifications?

Copilot may verify the accuracy of your vehicle identification number (VIN) with the use of your computer or mobile device; this has been verified by Kia support.

In my opinion, the Sportage facelift (MY26) is the only model that can use the digital key 2.0. I have it, but I never use it since it always unlocks the car whenever I go near it. I would have to leave my iPhone and Watch indoors if I were gardening near the car; otherwise, I would have to keep unlocking and locking them. Unless you're driving continuously, it drains the 12v battery quite a little.

Yes, assuming it's the MY26 model, which is a facelift. Do you have a head-up display (HUD)? It's the simplest method to tell if you have the GT-Line S trim. Since there is no MY26 model, there is no digital key 2.0 and no HUD. Unless someone can verify that they own a model from before the makeover.
