The presence or absence of an auxiliary battery in my 2016 S212 220 Bluetec 4Matic is uncertain to me. There is a broken QR code on the B-pillar that cannot be read.
The weather isn't nice enough for me to disassemble half the car in search of a replacement part, and the online parts catalogue is somewhat vague on the topic.
You’re only seeing the surface.

Can you tell me if every W/S212 has an extra battery?

You can find the aux in the boot or on the side of the dashboard if your vehicle has a start/stop or steering column shifter; the sequence is the identical, though. How do you enter the VIN into the EPC?

I can control the up and down motion.

You won't find an extra battery pack in my vehicle—not even in the front or back.
