The internet updater, an SD card, and a USB drive have all been exhausted in my attempts to update the software; nonetheless, the head unit still refuses to upgrade, regardless of how many times I press the update button. Has anyone else encountered this problem and figured out a solution?
much obliged

In my previous attempt to upgrade it to the automobile, I spent four hours attempting to do it. It was determined that the USB was defective. I purchased a replacement and had no issues with the upload. A comparable problem with an SD card was recently reported by someone.

Different models may call for different storage media, so be sure to check the manual before purchasing. There is no other option.

Indicate the current software version shown on the head unit.
Just one of the two options—SD card or USB—will allow you to install updates. Simply put, you insert an SD card into your device if it has one.
