I had a similar experience on a Nissan Juke. I dropped the engine oil and only 1.5 litres came out. I should have gotten around 4 litres, but I was still getting to know the car since I had just bought it. I was trying to drain the oil further by blowing down the filler cap and all, but then it hit me: I had dropped the gearbox oil. Oops! I had to go get 2 litres of gearbox oil because it was a manual gearbox. The two plugs under the car were square sockets, and I accidentally popped out
