Greetings Everybody,
This is the situation: today, screenwashers quit operating.
Reservoir topped up, pump appears to be functioning properly, and it makes a normal, healthy sound.
Okay, rear washer
I can't see any more water dripping from the front washers' split pipes or anywhere else; the water is simply dribbling under the bonnet lip.
Is the front and rear pump interchangeable? Possible clogged filter if there are two pumps.
Not likely to have been aircraft because they all took off at the same time, were they? Then then, maybe I was just missing one. However, inserting the paperclip into the nozzle had no effect.
I would greatly appreciate any feedback you may have!
Many thanks

Both screens use the same pump, which could indicate a problem with the front hose. Check to see if water sprays out when you use the washers by separating the joint near the offside bonnet hinge.

Appreciate it, and I did see that you mentioned just one pump. The previous transparent poly pipes and fittings were far superior, therefore I refrained from attempting to remove that junction because it appears to be very brittle. I will attempt it again tomorrow.

This is a common occurrence, the feared black gunge, therefore I suggest you seek it up on this site.
I had to remove the tank and scrub it well with drain cleaning and other similar products before it finally worked.
When I had this problem with another vehicle, my mechanic friend cleaned and replaced out the old tank with a new one.
