My last ride was a Land Rover Discovery Sport, but I'm now driving a 2025 Sorrento 4. The possibility to fold the door mirrors and install additional towing mirrors while driving was definitely a must-have feature on my Disco Sport when towing a caravan. Given that I will always reduce my speed, 'jousting with mirrors' and passing vehicles on tight routes is a real gamble! Does Kia's belief that folding the mirrors poses a safety risk still still stand? The way they work that out is mind-boggling!

This looks like they've installed a cap of about 10 mph before the 'facility' goes off!

Tomorrow I shall put this to the test and post my findings. I will be sure to double-check when I go out later today, but I folded them in a few weeks ago when going around 30 mph. I was certainly in motion when I did it, yet I could've been wrong about the speed.

They can't fold those mirrors in any of the automobiles I've owned—Kia, BMW, Seat, Skoda—when you're driving.

Neither my ceed nor my prior Honda ever recorded the speed, but they both folded over while we were on the go. Reflecting back, it seems the Honda was more than twenty years
