Re: N14 Cooper S Update

Tomorrow is going to be a learning day for my daughter as she is going to refurbish a cylinder head that I am going to strip. She really isn't hard to train; in fact, I only have to demonstrate her once before she copies my every move. And she never gets mad when I double-check her work.

Re: N14 Cooper S Update

Here you can see a damaged piston sandwiched between the lower and higher compression rings; we determined that four new FAI pistons would work better. To tell you the truth, these are unparalleled. We put them through a lot of stress; we have a couple of automobiles that use them and are constantly ...

Re: N14 Cooper S Update

The head is removed and the pistons are completely blasted apart. I discovered a couple more problems with it; the upper lips of the number 3 and 4 pistons are grooved, so a new set is required, just in case, and there's also the usual oil-burning rubbish. It appears that the head was swapped out ...

I recently got an automatic Mini Cooper to finish off its MOT for Parkwood Motors. The car has recently had new brakes, pads, and a refurbished subframe and rear shocks, as well as an exhaust flexy. During the service, I diagnosed and repaired a non-start issue that had plagued their other garage ...

They aren't experts if they can't interpret fault codes.

Seems like a sketchy garage. As mentioned before, get the problem codes scanned with a professional scanner, preferably an expensive one.Does the vehicle have any history of dpf gutting and/or remapping? Possible causes include boost leaks, vac lines, dpf, etc.

Re: Electric tailgate for the 2022 P250

My issue began on April 27th and has persisted ever since. Everything was taken care of earlier today.
Beginning in early April, the tailgate would open but remain unlocked. I had to close it manually after getting the same three beeps as you. Even after two weeks, it would open, but the maximum ...

Re: Query regarding scan tool

Unless you happen to leave your phone at home, Bimmerlink is always at your fingertips, making it incredibly convenient.
This adapter has been great for me, and I've suggested it to others.
Sure, the app should work on your 2017 phone, and Bluetooth is very secure.
