If the ones I've seen in Germany and elsewhere aren't on W212 steels, then they must be from a different model.

Outside of the car's authorised range of MB sizes, I don't see any problems with any of that, the only possible issue being insurance. A potential drop in mpg could be caused by the increased unsprung weight of the wheels.

Incredible wheels for a transformation, and the front end is exceptionally fierce... I adore it... except for the rear spoiler.

Like mentioned before, it's a good idea to check the BMW's service history for any unusual items, but especially the frequency of oil and filter changes; the more frequent the better.
