Is the possibility of using the air conditioner or batteries to warm up the car's cabin feasible? (as it is connected to an electrical outlet or wall charger)
Basically, before to initiating the ICE.

It's not what I requested. (about the app, I am against paying for subscriptions for content that I already possess).

Is it possible to use hydro to warm up the vehicle while it is plugged in (without the engine running)?

In addition to not wanting to pay for the app—which is mainly useless—I own a plug-in hybrid electric vehicle.
No other method of impromptu preheating the car while it's plugged in and off has been discovered by me. The only other alternative would be to use the vehicle's settings (through the infotainment screen) to program in a specified time to preheat. That wouldn't work for me because my driving times vary throughout the day, but it could be a possibility for you if your schedule is more regular.

How about you use the heater while plugged in? Just press the start button twice with your foot off the brake?

Though I think the heater functions in the "On" mode typically found in earlier vehicles, you still can't drive away after unplugging it without pressing the start button again. In my opinion, this is only going to function in the PHEV and not the I6.

After that cold day, I shall test my memory, but I am 99% certain this is the case.

You can accomplish this with the help of the app. Because my lease is for three years, I won't have to pay for the app during that time. I presume that the three years of free use are over for you. Then you should program that into the car's schedule and arrange it to coincide with the time you intend to depart on that particular day.

Quite intriguing. Year 1 was the last year my app was valid.

In December of 24′, I purchased a 25.

Which year are you in? The software was fun, but not worth the price.

From January of 2024, I purchased my CX-90 PHEV.

With my CX-90phev, which I've owned for two seasons and always kept plugged in to warm up the cabin throughout the coldest winters in Nebraska, it can be done. When you open the door, it turns off, but it turns back on when you start the vehicle.
