The Range Rover Evoque's "Remote" app is malfunctioning.

It claims to "drive vehicle to wake from sleep," but after a month of use, it still doesn't do anything. It seems to fix itself the first time this occurred. Is JLR going to reimburse me for the month that it didn't work?

To see if it helps, try removing it and then the app download. ON THE OTHER HAND, I had great service the day I contacted Land Rover through their website's chat feature.
If it doesn't work, has the connection to the vehicle possibly been severed?

To make sure your car's software is up-to-date, go to the info screen on the dashboard and go to settings, then all settings, software and finally, check for updates. At this moment, please make sure the car is online.
While the engine is running, please complete a B press (the spanner button beside the mirror; hold it down for 30 seconds) and drive the vehicle two miles to an area with excellent signal.
Remove the app from your phone and then install the latest version.
Verify Signal: Park the car somewhere with a strong cell signal.
The app's syncing with the cloud can take up to 30 seconds, so please be patient.
Currently, the data can only be sent if the car is turned off.

Your model's age is likewise not specified; therefore, I assume that it has a valid remote subscription.

I appreciate you providing that information. Even after reinstalling the software, I still am not seeing any results. Despite the intermittent signal strength, the 20MY has served us well over our eight months of ownership (with the exception of one occasion, which resolved itself after a few days). Could you please define a B Press? I'm sorry, but I can't remember the name of the spanner button. I'll have to check it up now.

Had a conversation with JLR customer care at last, and they were really helpful. At first, it claimed there were no software updates, but after you gave it some instructions, it installed them. I had to drive somewhat close to my house in order to pick up my BT WiFi, and they helped me connect because the signal was spotty. Now I need to drive it again to complete the reset and check whether it worked. I appreciate you taking the time to explain what that button works.

You're very welcome. I'm relieved that it's now resolved. I really hope my problem could be solved so easy... 😂

After being fine until early January, I believe the update fixed it. Yesterday, I received a call from JLR checking in on the status of the update. They informed me that when renewal time, I should mention that it has been working fine for the whole month, and that they will consider extending as compensation.
