I was wondering if anyone had heard anything about the new labour rates for official Mercedes-Benz locations?

Am I being manipulated or is the £256.00 per hour amount being exaggerated?

Seems about correct. Before this, what was it?

Are we talking about a maximum rate here? And are dealers allowed to determine their own rates?

I'm crossing my fingers that MB dealers are efficient if I need to schedule an appointment with them.

Around two years ago, London MB allegedly charged that kind of fee, including VAT. It had to have been quite near if it wasn't exactly that.

Our nearby London dealerships (Dartford, Bromely, and another whose name escapes me) used to all charge the same prices a few years ago. A private company took over them, but the prices remained unchanged.

Listing the time for work is common practice.

In my location, a Mercedes costs £180 plus VAT.

Get a fixed price that includes parts, VAT, and more for standard service (including extras at each service interval) by visiting MB sites.

On a 500 to 1000 task, you can sometimes save 200 quid or more. A couple of years ago, such was the situation.
Verify that a separate business is the owner of the MB dealership.

The amount you'll be billed will be based on the contracted time, regardless of whether the technician really spends half that amount of time on the project.

The charge out would be about £5 million if a dealership could keep 10 of them occupied at this rate. 😳

(There are a lot more than ten Techs at the dealer near me).
