My last ride was a Land Rover Discovery Sport, but I'm now driving a 2025 Sorrento 4. The possibility to fold the door mirrors and install additional towing mirrors while driving was definitely a must-have feature on my Disco Sport when towing a caravan. Given that I will always reduce my speed, 'jousting with mirrors' and passing vehicles on tight routes is a real gamble! Does Kia's belief that folding the mirrors poses a safety risk still still stand? The way they work that out is mind-boggling!

This looks like they've installed a cap of about 10 mph before the 'facility' goes off!

Tomorrow I shall put this to the test and post my findings. I will be sure to double-check when I go out later today, but I folded them in a few weeks ago when going around 30 mph. I was certainly in motion when I did it, yet I could've been wrong about the speed.
