Last night on my way home, I saw that my full beam icon appeared on the dashboard, but I didn't have my full beams turned on. What gives? I would greatly appreciate any assistance you can provide.


As far as the front lights are concerned, I have verified that each fuse is in good working order.

I just replaced the headlights about two or three weeks ago because the ones I had were looking a little worn; I bought them off of a 2019 model, but mine are from 2011. According to what I found on Google, it should be fine. After switching them out, I discovered that turning on my headlights would cause the full beam indicator to flash for a split second before turning off.

As far as guidance goes, I have a feeling there's a discrepancy between the 2011 and 2019 versions. Check the Partsouq online catalogue to see if you can find any alternative part numbers. There are two versions of the Venga, one for the years 2009–2011 and another for the years 2011–2019, therefore there might be a difference.

Partsouq confirms that the headlamp units are same across all Venga models from both the Czech and Slovakian production years.

Why don't you try the old ones again? Just plug them in.
Because I want to make sure the problem is with the new lights. Will the light bulbs work?

Here's what I think you should do: go back to the beginning of the trail and test it in the "before" mode to make sure it works.
Make sure that whomever upgraded the bulbs in the new one didn't also touch the replacement bulbs.
Are you referring to the fact that they appear somewhat yellowed when you say "my old ones looked old"? I'm just wondering.

My workshop manual confirms;-

1) Pins 11 and 12 on connector A supply power to the instrument cluster light.
Pin 3 on the headlight connector is where you'll find the high beam +ve.

3) On the headlamp connector, pin 8 is the ground.
4) The engine compartment relay box is where you may find the headlight relays.
