Is anyone familiar with removing this trim piece?

I am in search of a replacement for the one-inch-wide trim that sits between my NSR door's lifting glass and the back quarter light. The second picture clearly shows that it is corroding in a tiny spot, which is very bothersome to me. When I get there, I'm sure I'll be able to figure it out, but it helps to have some background knowledge. I considered giving it a quick sanding and then spraying it again, but I fear it would look terrible and I doubt I could achieve the same glossy finish. I looked up the part numbers on Partsouq (via Google!) and they are A2127300119 and A2127300219 for the left side, respectively, in case anyone is interested in purchasing one in the future.
Many thanks.
PS: Apologies for the low-quality photos; the car was parked against a wall, making it difficult to get a good shot, and the cameras seemed to prefer capturing the reflection rather than the door.

Shale and plastic?

If that doesn't work, use Google.

Are you referring to a specific model of car? You seem to have a few options. I don't know if this is your model, but I think the concept is similar.

The process of removing the trim from a C Class is demonstrated clearly in that. Ideally, a W212 E-class will follow the same format.

Wow, that's even easier than I thought it would be! It looks just like the original. Much obliged.
