Greetings everyone! I was hoping someone could point me in the direction of the last stage resistor and explain how to access it. The once-reliable fan is now totally non-functional.
Much obliged.

After removing the scuttle trim from under the hood on the nearside, you can remove the heater fan cover, housing for the fresh air flap, and finally, the fan. You can find it on the underside of the fan.

Based on what I've described, do you think the FSR is at fault? Are any specialised tools required? I am grateful.

Sounds a lot like my experience when the fsr went down.

A flat blade for the scuttle clips and a T25 to open and remove the fan box are all that's needed; no special tools are necessary.

Thank you. The fan began to work intermittently, then stopped entirely, and has now been off for six months. It didn't respond at all. Would you prefer a fan motor or an FSR?

To check if the FSR is receiving power and if it is sending any signals to the motor, I would test it with the box open.
