Interactive Bonuses

The app suggested that I try linking my car with Mercedes or whatever it is, and since I'm completely unfamiliar with the notion, I figured I might as well give it a shot.
Am I sure I want to unlock these "free digital extras"? Are they actually useful, or are they just a way to get me to buy products I'm not interested in?
Also, I have all of the service records from the previous owner's main dealer in my possession, but I can't seem to locate them. The guy from whom I purchased the car sent them to me, and I don't want to schedule an appointment with a major dealer just to get them.
I spoke about the recommended independent, and he is able to view my online history, but I am powerless to!
Does somebody have any suggestions?

Before anything else, have the vehicle registered to you and not the former owner (this is something the dealer is obligated to do). Meanwhile, they may employ the app to find the automobile and unlock it if necessary.
Which premium services, if any, really help you is entirely up to you to determine. Typical extras are included in pre-made "kits"; moreover, we offer a 2019 C Class.

Some of the functions that we use frequently, some of which are free, are:
1. You won't even need to get out of your car to see the remaining range (I dare say I'm not alone in having a wife who never fills your tank?

).
I ask myself, "Did I secure it?" every so often. And you can easily do it in the app if you need to. Instead, close the windows. When my wife has been out of the house, I have been known to forget to lock the car and then go back and unlock it.
3. When you lock the car, make sure to disable the cabin motion sensor if you have a child or dog in the vehicle. Otherwise, the alarm can go off. The app makes it easy to accomplish this in case you forget.
4. At one point, we experienced a slow puncture. It's helpful to be able to monitor the tyre weights on your phone, since it allows you to stay informed before an alarm goes off while driving.
You can view the battery status, which is helpful if your stop/start feature isn't always reliable (for example, if the app displays "partially charged"), you'll know that's the problem.
6. I make good use of the automobile's tracking feature. It allows me to see when my wife is returning from errands, and when I'm close by, I can quickly open the gates, garage door, etc., to make things easier, especially when it's raining. If you would like to keep your whereabouts secret, you have a choice to toggle this setting in the car's options.
There are likely others, but those are the first that come to mind.
Logging in on the website allows you to view the service history, but I don't remember being able to do the same with the app. Unless Mercedes-Benz has "transferred" ownership of the vehicle to you, you will not be able to access any information.

Nothing will show up in the service record unless you link your contact information to the vehicle. Everyone had previously stated that you have to take the V5 and some kind of document bearing your address to a dealer to do that.

What about a stack of cash?
Apologies for my attitude. My local dealer needs to be located.

I see your argument of view, but it's certainly expensive to do.

Notify us! I imagine some would do it for cheap nevertheless; we received ours from an MB dealer, so the transfer had already been covered.

On a side note, the gratis email service I've received at Mercedes Me-related concerns has been superb. I'm assuming there's a link out there, but this is the address I've used:
email:
me-connect.gbr@cac.mercedes-benz.com

I've lately linked my vehicle to Mercedes Me, and even though the free bits that are provided are helpful, the premium features are too pricey for me to contemplate subscribing. A horse for each scenario, though. Someone might like it.
I ought to state that I have a device that shows me the precise location of my car on a map and notifies me on its battery life through an app on my phone.
