I value the feedback and suggestions regarding my earlier post.
I was hoping to get some advice from someone on the subject below.
The 2019 2.0 C300 AMG Line (Premium) G-Tronic+ Euro 6 (s/s) 2dr that I'm considering has only had one owner, has a clean service history, and is reasonably priced.
But I've read that you should stay away from the m264 engine if your service history isn't great; is this always the case?
Also, with a potentially major service approaching at 60,000 miles, could that pose a problem? It's currently at 56,000 miles.

If you have your registration and mileage information, you can try to schedule a service on the Mercedes website. You should be able to see when the next service is due. My gearbox oil service is due at 75,000 miles, and while it might be pricey, requirements changed at some point. This is my 2020 C300.
It might have been a stroke of bad luck, but I had to replace a lot of expensive parts, including vent fans, stalks, suspension components, and the satnav, which is still not fully functional. Other things would have been more of a concern for me.
There isn't much you can do about the engine's insatiable need for power, in my opinion.
I must say, I thoroughly enjoy driving the car.

Just so you know, we've loved our 2019 C300 Sport Premium Estate for the past six years. The vehicle is currently 54,300 miles and has had only two service items—a battery replacement and an update to the communications module—to address an issue with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Both of these were performed free of charge as part of the warranty. Considering the performance, I'm pleased that we get mid-40s mpg on a good run, even though it is a large estate car.
