Greetings everyone,

I just acquired a 2014 F31 320D with the infamous engine that supposedly had timing chain problems.

My car has never had this done before and is now at 111,000 miles; if anyone knows where I can get it replaced, please let me know.

I think it would be better to replace it now just to be safe.
I've heard that getting it to BMW may be a bit of a hassle, so I was hoping someone in the southwest might give me some insight into that or know of someone who can.

Open to traveling to ensure a perfect completion.

I thought I read somewhere that a replacement would cost around £4,000 (engine out), but I'm not sure if that's true.

It is not a four thousand dollar task, regardless of whether a manual car's clutch and flywheel are required. If someone offers you four thousand dollars for it, kindly decline.

around £1,500 to £1,500 at independents.however, if my memory serves me well, Johnny is superior than that.
