V5 TDCI 2.0-liter 2014 Ford Mondeo Mk4

A three-month-ago gasoline filter change caused no problems. Nevertheless, it stopped starting around two months ago; I replaced the fuel filter and housing with the real thing, and it ran fine for a thousand miles after that. Engine management light came on, and I got the message "Low pressure sensor signal faulty" after the engine started cutting out. The gasoline pump was replaced, and new pipes were installed to connect the pump to the filter and the pump to the rail at high pressure. The vehicle works good when cold, but as soon as it becomes hot and I apply pressure to the engine, it starts to lose power again. I can still see small bubbles in the fuel pipe leading to the pump. Only the service light is now turning on; the engine management light is off.

Small air bubbles visible when the engine is running on the gasoline line to the pump are still a problem, but the only evident thing that I have not altered is the fuel pressure sensor on the fuel rail.

Your assistance would be much valued.

I would contend that little bubbles are typical. An issue with air intrusion only arises when the bubbles are the same size as the hose diameter.

It makes perfect sense that these are little bubbles; do you have any other suggestions?

Is it possible that the FPS is to blame?
