TDCI manual gearbox, 2-liter diesel engine

Over the past week, I've taken my kuga to the garage no less than four times, and each time, the problem persists.

Whenever I use lower gears to accelerate, and only when the car is "cold," I hear a chugging or vibrating sound.

It's not there if you use the clutch while riding, and it's not there when you rev the engine while driving out of gear.

I attribute its disappearance after approximately fifteen minutes of driving to the vehicle's increased temperature. After two hours, it's fine to drive again, but after a night or three hours of cooling, it returns.

It appears to be more prevalent the more power you need to pull away or go uphill, though I'm not very technically savvy. Additionally, it decreases as you increase your speed.

Excuse me, but what should I be looking at next? Please tell me.

Could you tell us which engine it is? Since the clutch is dipped, we can assume it's a manual.

Why do you swap out components? When solving that equation, where does the noise factor in? Prior to or subsequent to the completion of the task?

Was the noise level improved or worsened by any of the tasks?

TDCI is the name of the 2-liter diesel engine and the gearbox is manual.

Even before that work was done, there was noise. It remained unchanged, unaltered.

The housing of the thermostat literally came loose while I was behind the wheel.

I had to jump start and replace the dead battery the following day because it happened during my mot inspection.

During their search for potential sources of noise, they discovered that the coolant was dripping all over the engine.

The new battery quickly ran out of juice because the alternator wasn't getting the job done.

Judging was evident three months before the replacement and remains so now.

The mounts for the engine and gearbox would be my first focus.
