It wasn't until the next day that I noticed a string of deep scratches in the area of view for the driver that ran up from the screen's edge—clearly not caused by wiper damage—in the Jaguar iPace, which I had just gotten.
Replied to the Dealer's typical scepticism over the phone, and back it went. They brought in their window "fixer," who examined the problem and assured them it could be resolved. Because the screen is so large and has features like solar reflection and TV heating, the dealer appeared pleased because, otherwise, it would have meant spending around £3,000.

The Glasweld guy worked on it for three hours today, and the scratches are completely gone. To cut a long story short.

They were a major problem because they caught the sun and lights while driving at night; I'm just relieved they're gone.

Cars with deep scratches on their glass can still have hope, which is something I didn't know was possible. Glasweld is great, and I'm happy to recommend them.

Exciting news! A Glasweld technician is located just 5 miles away from my house, according to a fast Google search.
I would like to have a screen that is slightly pitted due to stonechips and general highway use removed.

My screen is covered in tiny chips, and I'm worried that removing them would distort the glass.

Though it's never a bad idea to get a second opinion from a repair expert by having it checked out.

Putting my surplus toward a new screen would definitely save me money.

Looks like a fake window to me. That much is true; I have to paint it this summer.
