Greetings everyone
Although I have replaced the auxiliary water pump and the switch over valve, the engine light remains illuminated with the same code (P260000), and I would greatly appreciate some advice. I would be very grateful for any help anyone may offer who has been through something similar. Mercedes-Benz E-Class 2009 W212 Thank you ahead of time.

Is it a fuse?

Hello and thank you for your response. I have verified that the fuse and relay are in good working order; I am not sure what else to verify.

You have cleared it, right? It indicates the code is stored.

Yes, I have cleared the code. The engine light goes off the first or second time I start the engine, then it comes back on the second or third time.

An open circuit, which indicates a damaged wire, is mentioned in the fault description.
