After replacing the rocker cover, my car still won't start. Any advice?

Salutations Everyone,
It's been fifteen minutes since I tried to swap out the EcoTec E Class's rocker cover.
Everything appears to be in order now that we're back together. Restarted the vehicle, and after 45 seconds of struggling, I threw it in. It was a little rough, but I managed to get it going again.

It will not start even after I remove all air from the intake pipe to the injectors.
Priming also causes the gasoline tank to gurgle, which is the only other issue.

Thank you ahead of time

I understand.Go ahead and do another probe if it ran before anything you have knocked off. You started it up without the oil filler cap? Also, has the gasoline tank filler top been securely fastened?

After replacing the gasket on the rocker cover, if your 2.1 Bluetec (OM651) still won't start, the problem is probably related to air trapped in the high-pressure fuel lines or a disconnected sensor or ground.

Fixes and Common Causes
The OM651 engine frequently has gasoline prime loss when disconnected, which is the most common cause of trapped air in the fuel system. If air becomes caught in the common rail, the diesel engine won't start. To clear the air, you might have to turn the key to start the engine for 10-15 seconds at a time, allowing the starter to cool down in between.

Make that the mass airflow (MAF) and camshaft position sensors are firmly connected to avoid any missed or pinched connections. If a sensor wire is frayed or comes loose, the engine won't start and will stall right away.
Engine Not Grounding: There are certain fasteners and mounting places on the valve cover where the primary engine wire harness grounds out. Make sure that every bolt for attaching the harness is there and fastened correctly. The numbers 1–7

The Following Steps
Verify that No Connections Are Loose: Before you put the rocker box back together, make sure all of the plugs are in. For pinched wire looms, check the area behind the cylinder head, next to the firewall.
To prime the injectors and get the fuel pump working again, use a diagnostic equipment like the Mercedes Star Diagnosis (Xentry) to prime the fuel pump.

I am grateful. The injector lines have been bled, and now we're almost ready to start. When I try to repair the priming cycle, the fuel tank clearly makes a gurgling noise.
