Just months before the Covid hiccups, Nigel Serdet departed Mercedes Weybridge in the middle of 2019 and established his own location in Bracknell.

In 2023, he acquired Alexander's of Twickenham, a larger property in Whitton, from a retiree. Additional spaces and access to a wealthier clientele in SW London.


Indeed, Nigel combined the two streams when he purchased both the house and the business. While Nigel may not have been an MB specialist like PCS in Horndean, he did work as a senior technician for MB major dealers for many years before striking out on his own in his mid-forties.

What I mean by "Mercedes Weybridge Hedin." is that it's simply my way of shorthanding the descriptions of Woking, Brooklands, MB World, and now this one.

Compared to other saloon models, what distinguishes a 124 Cab, except from the roof?

I seriously doubt that anyone could have become an expert cab driver due to the low volume of sales. Now that 90% of them have gone, I believe it would be wiser to seek for a Mercedes expert who was present throughout the new Cab sales, which would put him in his 50s. Hopefully, they'll outlive the vehicle!
