After filling up, I still lose around half a litre of water after a forty-mile trip, and the low coolant indicator has been on for the past several trips. It appears that there are a few drips on the tray near the radiator, but they do not indicate a leak. Is the water pump about to give out?

There is no white smoke, and I have also tested the oil for emulsion.

N47 engines are prone to coolant flange leaks, therefore it's a good idea to shine a light on the side of the engine and examine it closely.

It appears like a leak is occurring nearby. Can I just buy a new one?

The top bolt may be accessed by loosening the intake manifold and tilting it up; the other two bolts are easily accessible. Very little trouble.

Is it possible for you to recognise this schematic component?
