On automatic mode, my CLK's wipers are acting up. On occasion, they function normally until they decide to act erratically; replacing the blades resolved this issue the last time it occurred. Since replacing the blades has not worked thus far, I am considering cleaning the screen thoroughly to see if it will assist. Has anyone on the forum have success with this?

Same here; I stopped using the auto feature years ago because of CLK's problems.

On rare occasions, the CLK would malfunction. The kind guy from Autoglass came back with his magic laptop after installing a new windscreen and corrected it. When this happened before, I found that giving the screen a thorough cleaning helped.

A dealer or specialist with Xsentry will need to recalibrate the camera if you have had the windscreen replaced.

A prismatic sensor is utilised instead of a camera.
