Something is off with the front left wheel, and it's giving me a little trouble. Since the sound increases with a right turn and decreases with a left turn, I'm leaning toward the left one.
It becomes obvious at speeds of about 80 km/h, but it begins at roughly 60 km/h. You can barely feel it when you press down on the accelerator or turn the wheel.



It was the same after I switched out the wheels, which led me to believe it was a problem with the tires. Even after having the wheels adjusted at the Mazda dealership, the problem persists. The Mazda's mileage is 11,000 km.


This may be a bit premature at 11,000 km, but I'm writing to you guys in the hopes that someone has been through this before and knows for sure that the problem is a broken wheel bearing.

Considering the load-dependent nature of the issue, a wheel bearing is definitely at blame. A CV joint or differential upstream would make its presence known constantly. You might be picking up on stability control artefacts. Is the noise audible in "Normal," "Offroad," or "Sport" mode?

Jacking the wheel off the ground and wriggling and turning is the usual procedure for troubleshooting such an issue. You can notice an excessive amount of play or hear grinding. Changing one requires extensive disassembly, but is still within the capabilities of a skilled do-it-yourselfer armed with the right equipment.


Although the earliest CX90 is from 2024, the warranty should cover anything similar. 11 km means it's a brand new automobile. In my opinion, it is best to hand it over to the dealer.

When it's a wheel bearing, it's not a huge inconvenience. I have installed these on our Mazdas, Toyotas, Fords, and other vehicles. Pretty good. A buzz of around one speed is typical while they go. The speed of our camey was about 45 miles per hour. At approximately 35, the frontier emerged. If it's actually gone, jacking up the wheel will make you feel like someone is tugging it back and forth. However, getting there is no picnic.
