The Acura TSX app is fake

Just had a conversation with the dealership about my vehicle's two recalls; this morning, I received a low battery warning through the app and the dealership said, "No problem, we will replace the battery." I'd been receiving these warnings for a few weeks prior to the charge check, so they seemed to understand.
Received a call back indicating that the app is experiencing a meltdown and that Toyota is aware of the problem with the app falsely informing customers about low 12v battery issues.
I wanted to inform you all in case you're experiencing the same problem; the dealership tested my battery and said it was good

After a 30-minute drive yesterday, my wife had it, and I'm sure she'll be thrilled.

The 12v battery reading is simply a recommendation, as it is an algorithm and not the actual value.

No problems starting the car when I got back. If it's an algorithm, I'll still get the warning message because the car isn't used much. I checked the battery before changing it, and it was dropping to 11.2v.

Yeah, 11.2 volts is really low. To give you an idea, a regular 12 volt battery in a petrol or diesel vehicle with an alternator and starter would be dead at 11.9 volts and probably couldn't be revived.
When a Toyota HEV Ancillary battery dies, no one seems to know what the lowest voltage reading should be because the battery only needs a little amount of electricity to charge the car's electrical components.
I will enquire about the two recent software updates for recalls tomorrow when I visit the dealers.

My app alerted me to a low battery, so I had my car towed in for charging overnight. When I checked the battery the following day, it seemed OK after being removed from charge at 8 a.m., and nothing was using power. However, by the end of the afternoon, the battery had dropped to 11.6 volts, and my CHR was still running. Under warranty, my dealership swapped out the battery, and now everything appears to be OK; I haven't received any notifications about it.
In September 2024, my CHR was officially registered. It was constructed in November 2023, and the battery was dated September 2023. I experienced a similar issue with my previous CHR around the 2-year mark; the 12-volt battery began to fail despite the car's everyday use (around 28 miles Monday through Friday and longer runs on weekends). Even though Toyota has yet to address the issue, other automakers are also dealing with the same problem. In fact, some manufacturers even replace the 12v battery at the owner's expense during the third year of operation.

Given the number of miles it had travelled on delivery, it wouldn't be shocking if the battery sat in the vehicle for a decade with only occasional charging.
It never occurred to me that CHRs were stocked; all of the new cars I've owned—including mine—were assembled on demand and shipped out within days of placing the purchase.

The dealer offered to show me the cancelled orders list before I placed my purchase, which included cars that had been bought, manufactured, and were en route to the UK, but the client had later decided not to buy them. Typically, Toyota builds to customer specifications.
My new factory order was for the Smart Connect infotainment device since I wanted it.
Toyota also sends out showroom models, often known as demonstrators, to dealerships.
I got a new battery, a Yuasa YBX5012, because my old one was dying at 3.5 years old.

My previous CHR, a GR Sport, was assembled to order; however, the 12v battery in it died when it was two years old. My current CHR, a premier edition, was manufactured in October or November of 2023.
