Two days ago, I received my insurance renewal notice from Aviva, and I was delighted to learn that it was £52 less than last year. I got a few quotations today, but Quidco and Compare the Market couldn't come close to the renewal price, and LR, which only offers monthly payments even though I want to pay everything at once, wanted almost twice as much as other quotes.

There is still hope for us, because it was quite an impressive turn of events

Pleasure to be informed. In only five weeks, my current insurance policy with Aviva will expire. Aviva seems to be being realistic, however I will conduct my customary comparative site search three weeks before.

My own has been rejuvenated. I got a windscreen crack fixed (excellent UK roads!), but Sheilas Wheels wanted to almost double mine to a little over a grand. Since the cost of the repair was significantly lower than the premium I paid, they were still profitable.
I saved more than £400 by using comparison websites. It's insane. I worked for less than an hour, and Sheilas Wheels blew their opportunity to profit from me.

It was my secondary driver's license number that was missing from my renewal policy; I called to have it added, and my premium is now £110 less than it was last year, which is awesome.

The figures are probably made up by them as they go along.
