Hosts, please ; My 2011 Chevrolet Captiva 2.2 VCDI has been through a lot of power issues, but I've managed to fix them all. Now my main worry is that the two fans keep running all the time, even when the engine is off. I've checked the air conditioning circuit and found that it is empty; I've also run out of gas and had to remove a big 80 A fuse to turn off the fans. Does anyone have any ideas? It is appreciated.

Though I don't pretend to have any knowledge about 'air conditioning', I'm curious as to whether the overrunning fans are a result of the system's loss of refrigerant gas.

Indeed, it is also what an employee from Chevrolet France informed me. I recently had to change the turbo and the fan, which made me feel awful. As soon as I opened the air conditioning circuit and the gas line, my fan problem appeared. I will fill it soon and keep you informed. I had to open the gas system, air conditioning and the big tube from the front, on the right. My power issue is being fixed. I appreciate it.

Thanks to recharging the air conditioner when my fan stopped working, I was able to resolve the problem with the non-functioning ventilation.
