Greetings all, I just purchased a 2021 RR Evoque II PHEV with 300+ horsepower. Lovely automobile, but it has a major issue: the electric motor and hybrid system suddenly quit operating, forcing the internal combustion engine to kick in. It was taken to the dealer four times, where the ECU was updated, the high voltage heater was replaced, the wire harness was changed, the 12v and auxillary batteries were changed, the telematics were disabled, and it was thought that a towing system that wasn't original might be the problem.

Nothing has changed; after driving regularly for about 50 km, you'll get a dashboard notice saying that the EV and Hybrid modes are unavailable; regenerative braking also stops functioning; the HOLD feature also stops functioning; and finally, the speed limiter regulator ceases functioning. Every time, it's the same thing. According to RR, only the dealer can fix the infotainment system, and the dealer claims they cannot update to the 2023 version. They suspect a problem with the electric motor, therefore I have another appointment scheduled with them next week.


I was wondering if anyone else had experienced this.

Unlike yours, my hvch quit functioning. They replaced it and now everything is fine.
Every once in a while, after I've been away from the road for a bit, the electric vehicle will start up and run smoothly again. If it's still under warranty, I have faith that they'll fix it.

Land Rover scheduled an appointment because they suspect the electric motor is to blame; however, after their fourth attempt, I no longer have faith in them. I drive my car daily and charge it every night.

Good day. Exactly the same thing is happening to me. In EV mode, it functions flawlessly. After that, it can shift to the ICE if you get an unsettling shock as you approach a crossroads. Drivers should exercise caution as stability control is not accessible. Hold is also unavailable. After you park it and wait half an hour, it will work perfectly till you need it again. Excellent vehicle, but incredibly inconvenient to take in for maintenance (updates, HV pack replacement, etc.). What do you think?

Despite changing a wire harness to fix my "stability control unavailable" notice, the issue has persisted ever since. At any speed, the ICE kicks in harshly when the EV motor shuts down, and my major problem remains unsolved. Sota refuses to update Pivi Pro, leaving them with an ice car and no electric features.
