One little buzz

Greetings, I would like to enquire about the possibility of disabling the one beep that goes off whenever a different speed restriction is detected. You have to reset it every time you start it up, or it can be turned off and left off.
Many thanks

That could be helpful, but I'm more interested in learning how to disable the car's configurable speed limit.
On a daily basis, I find myself in the situation where a separate side road has a speed limit of 20 mph and the main road has a limit of 30 mph.
Despite the fact that I am driving on the lower limit, the vehicle continues to follow it.

The mute button on the wheel controls should be pressed and held, though I've never had to use it. You can see references to this feature in a couple of the posts here.

It seems to perform adequately as a warning for exceeding the speed limit, therefore I'm grateful. The only time this sound seems to function is when the car detects a change in your speed, such going from 30 to 40 mph; it then beeps once to let you know about the change.

As previously mentioned, in order to disable audio alerts and enable visual ones, press and hold the OK button on the steering wheel.
