My enquiries are as follows:
1) Does it actually do what it claims to do?
2) Can you have faith in them when they're almost certainly involved in money laundering or smuggling oil from Russia into the European market?
3) Would you like to take part in what they're doing?
Cheap oil, then. Is it because Putin's army is getting funding, or because it's not the product you want?
Take note: I bought 60 litres of 5W30 or 5W40 in the five years prior to my discovery through Private Eye, but I haven't used any of it in my 528i (At least not yet).
Prior to moving on to more "honest" brands, I intend to utilise the remaining approximately 10 litres in a 1.5 Mazda2, a mk1 Mx5, and other vehicles.

'Trading with the Enemy' is a book about how the Allies were able to trade with Japan and Germany despite trade bans and sanctions, a fact that was known to both politicians and secret services alike. Everything that you want or don't want to support is irrelevant; there is nothing new under the sun. You're not a member of the group.
Additionally, you should follow the money instead of the propaganda news. How convenient that tax revenue from oil will increase the price of everything—fertilizer, food, transportation—and vat revenue will be further boosted when the United Kingdom, the United States, and Europe have the largest public debt (and unfunded liabilities as the welfare state) ever and no one is willing to buy gilts or bonds, forcing them to roll the debt over at higher interest rates. Until it triggers the next recession, which is currently happening, of course. It's interesting how conflicts tend to revolve around the biggest energy exporters. Russian and Iranian cheap diesel is now unavailable, forcing us to import it from the United States. Nations are undoubtedly attributing the sudden increase in the value of their emergency oil reserves—which were purchased at $60 per barrel—to nothing more than random chance. most likely.

I fail to perceive any distinction between the Russian military and the United States military, so I really could care less which one gets it.
Is the oil, however, good?

It has served me well for the past five or six years. I used to get it from Eurocarparts, but now I get it on eBay since I can't find it anywhere else. Since I just passed 143,000 miles on my 2012 F11 2.0 litre Estate, I replace it every 5,000 to 6,000 miles.
